섬유예술에 있어서 표현 소재에 관한 연구 신 재 희 동덕여자대학교 생휠미술과 연구조교 --------------------------------------------- 논문개요 1 . 서론 lJ. 본론 m. 결론 IV. 참고문헌 ABSTRACT 논문개요 인간의 역사와 더불어 끊임없이 연속되어 온 자기표현에 관한 욕구는 시대에 따라 독특한 표현양식인 예술작품을 낳게 하였다. 예술을 자기표현의 결과라고 볼 때， 모호한 장르개념과 재료의 복합성은 창작과정에 있 어서 상상력의 비약(飛醒)과 노력의 산물인 것이다. 더 욱 이 예술가의 본질로서 인정되는 표 현의 자유는 개인의 개성과 창조력을 바탕으로 하여 전통적인 인습적 사고에서 해방시 킨다. 종합예술을 추구하는 20세기의 섬유예 술은 과학의 혜택으로 양산되는 재료와 개인 의 지적 洞察力(통찰력)， 예민한 감성과 더 불어 정선된 매체를 합리 적으로 도입한다. 이러한 기반아래 섬유예술은 현대미술의 흐름과 그 맥락을 같이 해오면서 조형예술의 새 로운 분야로 확대， 발전해 가고 있으며， 특히 독특하고 다양한 소재의 선태에 의한 풍부한 표현가능성으로 무한한 미적 가치 를 표현할 수 있어 현 대 미 술 속에서 하나의 창조분야로 자리 를 굳히고 있다. 더 욱이 현대의 미 술방향이 과학 기 술의 발달과 조형 개념의 다변화로 자유로운 자기표현을 지향하고 있음에 따라 섬유재료의 폭은 점차로 넓어지고 있 다. 이에 본 논문 에서 는 섬유예술의 일반적 개념 검토에 이어 현대 섬 유미 술의 특성과 표현양식을 섬유예술의 발전과정을 통해 설명하고， 작품재작 에 사용되는 여러 소재들을 조사 분석하여 앞으로 의 섬유예술에 긍정적인 방향을 모색하는 데 도움이 되고자 하였으 며 아울러 표현소재에 대한 연구가 기대된다. ABSTRACT The continuous desire for self-expression from the birth of human history created art works of unique expressive mode with the changes of the times. Just as art is conc1uded as a resu1t of self-expression, the ambiguous concept of genre and composite materia1s produce imaginary jump and endeavor in the process of creation. Further, the expressive freedom considered as an essence of an artist is liberates the traditiona11y long-established thought based on a person's individua1ity and creative power. Closely s e1ected media as well as mass produced materia1s benefitted by 148 science, a person's intellectual insight, and keen sensitivity are introduced to 20th century's textile art, which has searched for a composite art, in a rational manner. Under this basis, the textile art is connected to the current of modern art to be enlarged 때d developed into a new field of the formative art. In particular, the infinite aesthetic value c없1 be expressed by the selection of unique and various materials, which result in rich expressive capability, so that it is consolidating its foundation as a creative field in the modern art. In addition, as the modern art is inclined toward free self-expression owing to the development of scientific technologies and diversification of formative concept, the textile materials are extending its scale increasingly. Accordingly, this thesis is intended to explain the feature 없ld expressive mode of modern textile art as well as the examination of its general concept and, . it is researching to analyze various materials used in producing art works so that it may be helpful to explore the positive ways of future textile art, including the study on expressive materials. |
