Universal design의 개념과 실태 3-1 Universal Design의 개념 3-2 Universal Design의 배경 3-3 Universal Design의 7가지 원칙 3-4 Universal Design이 적용된 디자인 사례 3-5 고령자와 장애인을 위한 Universal Design 3-6 Universal Design의 개념 확장 4. 기호학적 인터페이스의 유니버설 디자인 적용가능성 4-1 Universal Design과 Information Design 4-2 Universal Design과 Interface Design 4-3 Universal Design과 Wearable Design 5 Universal Design의 유비쿼터스 환경 5. 결 론 (要約) 현재까지 유니버설디자인은 주로 사용성을 위주로 개발되어 왔고 심미적인 관점보다는 기능성에 초점을 맞추어진 디자인의 개념으로 접근해 왔던 것이 현실이다. 하지만 21세기에 접어들면서 모든 문화와 산업은 정보화와 IT와 정보화의 패러다임으로 인해 우리의 생활의 상당부분이 디지털화되어 가고 있다. 따라서 최근의 디자인 경향은 디지털을 떠나서는 생각할 수도 없음은 물론이다. 그러나 IT와 디지털 분야에서의 유니버설 디자인은 진정한 의미에서의 유니버설 디자인을 적용하여 상용화하기에 어려운 난제들이 도처에 산재해 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 앞으로 21세기를 이끌 디지털과 IT 분야에서의 유니버설 디자인의 향방과 또한 유니버설 디자인의 중요한 원칙인 사용성과 접근성을 고려한 유니버설디자인의 기호학적 인터페이스의 향후 발전방향과 앞으로 도래할 유비쿼터스시대에 진정한 유니버설디자인의 정점을 연구의 중요 논점으로 삼았다. (Abstract) It is the actual condition that Universal Design has been developed mainly for use up to now, and we have approached it with the design concept focusing on functionality rather than aesthetic viewpoint. However, as times reach 21st century, all the culture and industries are being digitalized in considerable parts of our living, due to the paradigm of information, IT and informatization. Therefore, it is also clear that we can't imagine the recent design trend without digital. However, for the Universal Design in IT and digital field, we have many difficulties when we apply universal design in true meaning and commercialize it. Thus, this study selected main issues, such as the future direction of universal design in digital and IT field that will lead 21st century in the future, the future developmental direction of semiological interface of universal design that considers use and accessibility, and the peak of universal design in true meaning that will come in the ubiquitous era.
