| 내용 | 스토리텔링 기반의 웹 인터페이스 디자인에 관한 연구 A Study on Storytelling Based Web Interface design 주저자 : 박준우(Park, jun woo) 한양대학교 응용미술과 공동저자 : 유금(Ryu, guem) 한양대학교 응용미술과 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 Abstract 1. 서론 1-1. 연구 배경 및 목적 2. 이론적 배경 2-1. 웹 GUI 디자인의 개념 및 특징 2-2. 디지털 스토리텔링의 개념 및 사례 3. 4차원적 웹 인터페이스 디자인 3-1. 3차원적 웹 인터페이스 디자인 분석 3-2. 요소별 디자인 스토리텔링 3-3. 스토리텔링을 통한 4차원적 웹 인터페이스 4. 결론 요약 www (World Wide Web)이라는 단어는 이제 더 이상 우리들에게 전혀 생소하게 다가오지 않는다. 인터넷이라는 매체를 통해서 사람들의 생활 패턴 패러다임(Paradigm)은 크게 변하게 되었다. 이제 사람들은 인터넷을 통해서 많은 정보를 습득하고 있는 것이다. 이는 온라인세상이 오프라인세상 만큼 사람들의 생활의 중심에 크게 뿌리 박혀 있다는 반증적인 요소일 것이다. 이는 디자인계에도 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 디자인의 가장 큰 부분을 차지하고 있던 출판이나 제품 분야보다, 화면을 구성하는 GUI(Graphic User Interface) 디자인분야가 각광을 받기 시작한 것이다. 이는 컴퓨터로 인터넷을 사용하는 사용자들의 욕구가 늘어나면서 이를 충족시켜주기 위해서는 자연스럽게 생겨나는 현상이었을 지도 모르겠다. 기존의 단순한 화면구성과 그저 유저빌리티(Usability)가 좋은 GUI를 원하던 사람들도 더욱 재미있고 보기도 좋은 화면을 원하게 되었다. 이로 인하여 기존에 디자인 발전과정은 1차원적 디자인(점, 선), 2차원적 디자인(면), 3차원적 디자인(공간)에서 벗어나 이제 대중들은 4차원적인, 즉 시간의 개념을 도입한 디자인을 원하게 된 것이다. 시간의 도입이라 하면 스토리를 가진 디자인을 말한다. 디지털 스토리텔링(Digital Storytelling)이야 말로 이러한 대중들의 욕구를 해소해줄 수 있는 기법 중에 중요한 하나라고 할 수 있겠다. 본 연구에서 기본적인 웹 인터페이스 디자인의 개념과 특징들에 대해서 알아보고, 디지털 스토리텔링이 개념과 디지털 스토리텔링이 현제 우리사회에 얼마나 적용되어 있고, 우리가 사용하고 있는 지에대해 사례를 조사한다. 이렇게 조사된 사례들을 바탕으로 현제 운영되고 있는 웹 사이트의 인터페이스 디자인에 대해서 분석 하되, 디자인 요소별로 각각 분석한다. 이렇게 분석된 데이터를 통해서 각 요소별 디지털 스토리텔링 기법을 적용하면 어떻게 GUI 디자인이 발전할 수 있는 가를 알아보고, 마지막으로 화면 연동상, 즉 하이퍼링크를 연결하는데 있어서도 디지털 스토리텔링이 어떻게 적용되는 지에대해서 알아보도록 하겠다. 전체적인 GUI 디자인이 디지털 스토리텔링을 만나서 어떻게 진화해 나가는지가 본 연구의 큰 결과라고 하겠다. Abstract The word World Wide Web (WWW) is no longer an unfamiliar word to us. The paradigm of people's living patterns has changed greatly through the medium called the Internet. This is a clear proof the online world is as important to people's lives as the offline world. As the Internet permeated through people's lives, the design industry also experienced great change. The design field of the Graphic User Interface (GUI) has begun to receive more attention than the field that used to be the biggest design field, the field of publishing and product design. This is probably a natural phenomenon originating from the need to satisfy the increase in demand from users who use the Internet. Even those who formerly used to want just a simple screen layout and a GUI with good usability now want a more interesting and good looking screen. As opposed to the old 1 dimensional (dot, line),2 dimensional (surface), and 3 dimensional (space) designs, the public now want a 4 dimensional design that reflects the idea of time. The inclusion of time means a design that has a story. Digital storytelling is one of the most important thing that can satisfy the public's desire for such items. This research will examine the concept and characteristics of web interface design, the concept of digital storytelling and its application and use in our society through examples. Based on the date from these researched examples, the interface design of modern web sites will be analyzed according to the various design factors. Based on this data, an examination is made on how GUI design can develop through the application of digital storytelling methods on the various design factors, and finally an examination is made into how digital storytelling can be applied to hyperlinks as well.
