| 내용 | 한국 중앙정부 행정부처 심벌마크의 기호학적 가능세계 접근에 관한 연구 A study on the semiotic possible world of symbol mark in the central government ministries and offices 김 윤 배 대진대학교 디자인학부 Kim yoon-bae 본 연구는 2007년도 대진대학교 교내연구비 지원과제임 ======================================== 1. 서 론 2. 중앙정부기관의 심벌마크 3. 중앙정부 18개 부처 심벌마크의 기호학적 분석 3-1. 국가의정체성 3-2. 유일무이한 국가이미지 3-3. 국가의 위계적 조직 3-4. 영구성 3-5. 친숙도 4. 의미론적 해석: 기호학적 가능세계 접근 4-1. 조형심벌적 분석 4-2. 색채적 분석 4-3. 모티브적 분석 4-4. 기호학적 가능세계 5. 통사론적 해석 5-1. 시각언어의 표현문제 5-2. 중앙정부 심벌마크의 이원적 대립구조 6. 결 론 참고문헌 국문요약 심벌마크는 조직의 분류와 동일화를 함축적으로 담고 있는 상징기호로서 단순한 지시 기능만을 갖기보다는 대중을 설득하고 감화시키는 담론내지 시각적 텍스트의 역할을 수행하고 있다. 심벌마크는 그 자체의 미적기능과 지시적 기능을 갖지만 아울러 사회․문화적 세계에 속하는 상징기호로서의 기능이 더 중요하다는 것이다. 본 연구는 이전 중앙정부 18개 부처의 심벌마크를 중심으로 하나의 이미지가 시각언어로서의 서술성을 확보할 수 있는가? 있다면 어떤 접근성이 있는가를 기호학적 접근방법을 도입하여 실증적으로 설명하고자 한다. 또한 이들의 심벌마크를 미학적 측면보다는 기호학적구조롤 접근하여 조형적 코드 및 도상적 코드를 바탕으로 하여, 지시기능의 외연적 의미 뿐 아니라 내포적의미를 지시하는 상징 및 은유의 역할을 밝혀 보고자 한다. 따라서 시각언어로서의 중앙정부 심벌마크를 그래픽디자인 시스템의 공간배치, 형태, 색채, 등을 발화시켜 공통된 담론을 정리하는 기호학적 분석과 의미론적 해석인 조형심벌적 분석, 색채적 분석, 모티브적 분석을 수행한 후 가능세계의 3가지 유형을 적용해 볼 것이다. 이러한 일련의 연구를 통해 중앙정부의 심벌마크이미지의 상징적, 언어적 난점을 보안하여 심벌마크가 대중 속에 살아있는 실체라는 점을 밝히고자 한다. 주제어 (심벌마크, 기호학, 시각언어, 기호적 가능세계) Abstract A symbol mark is a symbol comprehending classification of the organization and identification by implication, and performs roles of discourse to persuade and inspire the public or visual text rather than simple function of indication. A symbol mark has its own aesthetic function ostensive function, but at the same time, its function as a symbol belonging to its social and cultural world is more important. With symbol marks of the central government’s 18 ministries as central figure in the relation, could one image secure narration as a visual language? If so, this study is to positively describe what accessibility is there by introducing semiotic approach. Also, this study is to analyze not only extensive meanings of indicating function, but roles of symbol and metaphor indicating intensive meanings based on formative code and iconic code with approaches on semiotic structure rather than philosophical aspect of these symbol marks. Therefore, the central government’s symbol marks as visual language will be performed of semiotic analysis, formative symbolic analysis, a semantic interpretation, and motive analysis arranging common argument by using graphic design system’s spatial positioning, form, color, etc, then applied of 3 forms of possible world. Through the series of researches, this study is to clarify the point that symbol mark is the live substance among the public by complementing iconic and linguistic crux of the central government’s symbol mark image.
