| 내용 | 범죄 예방을 위한 환경디자인에 관한 연구 -공간요인 분석을 중심으로- To Analysis the Environmental Design for Crime's Prevention - Regarding with the Spatial Factors 문 정 민 조선대학교 미술대학 디자인학부 부교수(Ph.D) Moon Jeong Min Chosun University 장 동 국 조선대학교 공과대학 건축학부 부교수(Ph.D) Chang Dong Kuk Chosun University " 이 논문은 2007년도 정부(과학기술부)의 재원으로 한국과학재단의 지원을 받아 수행된 연구임 (No. R01-2006-000-11177-0)." 문정민 ; 제 1저자, 장동국 ; 교신저자 ========================================= 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구의 목적 및 의의 2-2. 연구의 범위 및 방법 2. 이론적 고찰 2-1. 선행연구에 대한 조사 2-2. 선행연구를 통한 범죄발생요인 분석 3. 공간적요인 분석을 위한 현장조사 및 분석 3-1. 현장조사 3-2. 공간적 요인과 기본적 요인의 빈도분석 3-3. 기본적요인과 공간용도 및 범죄유형과의 비교분석 4. 결론 참고문헌 논문요약 1970년대 미국의 사회학자이며 건축학자인 오스카 뉴만의 방어공간(Defensible Space)의 개념에서 범죄발생의 원인이 범좌자의 개인적 특성 이외에도 주거지의 물리적 환경과 같은 요인들에서 기인한다고 주장했지만 구체적인 방법론을 제시하기에는 오늘날의 도시범죄의 다양화 또는 폭력화 현상에는 적절히 대응하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 오늘날 다각적으로 고려되는 ‘환경설계를 통한 범죄예방(CPTED: Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)이 널리 보급되어 도입됨으로써 어느 정도 범죄예방 정책과 실천적 결과에서 성과를 거두었지만 범죄예방차원에서는 보다 다각적이며 종합적인 원인들에 대한 연구가 요구되고 있으며 범죄발생 패턴과 이에 따른 예방은 범죄유형별로 사회. 경제적 요인과 공간적 요인들이 상호 복합적으로 연결되어 있으므로 건축적 측면에서 가장 기본적인 공간 구성적 요인에 대한 연구가 깊이 있게 다루어져야 할 필요가 있었다. 본 연구의 최종목표는 도시에서 발생하는 강력범죄 발생요인을 사회적, 경제적, 공간적으로 구분하여 각 요인들 간의 구조적인 역학관계를 해석함으로써 범죄 발생률을 도시별, 지역별, 마을별(또는 공간별)로 매크로 하면서 마이크로한 범위 수준으로 구분하여 예측하여 범죄발생 유발을 감소시킬 수 있는 도시환경디자인을 시도하는 것이다. 또한 이러한 분석된 공간적 요인들은 지역별 구역별 범죄유형별로 세분화하여 범죄예방을 위한 디자인과정에 적용시킴으로써 보다 쾌적하고 안전한 환경디자인을 추구하는 것이다. 범죄발생을 줄일 수 있는 공간디자인을 위한 기초연구로서 범죄발생과 관련된 인간 환경 전반에 걸친 다각적이고 종합적으로 연관성이 있는 요인을 분석하고 평가하는 것이다. 주제어 환경설계, 범죄예방, 공간적요인 Abstract In 1970, Newman. Oscar asserted the reason of the crime's occurrence was caused by the criminal's personal characteristics as well as physical environments of dwelling In his 'Defensible Space'. But the contention was off on the circumstances against the diversity and violence of present's urban crimes. Recently, although the prevention of crime got anywhere with the introduction of CPTED :Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)widely, the research as prevention's crime has been requested by the way of versatile and colligated. Urban safety has been significantly interfered with the increase of urban crime rates in recent years, which has been thought to be the result of the loss of urban settlement's identity. As cities are regarded as complex system, urban crime is believed to occur with many complex reasons, such as social, economical and spatial relationship as well as criminal's very personal ones. There are three major reasons of having very close relation with the occurrence of urban crime. Firstly the social ones, such as the degree of law enforcement, the pattern of household and the degree of community-ship, Secondly the economical reasons, such as the degree of a region's economic viability, a regional community's wealth and poverty, and the value of each building property. Finally the spatial reasons, such as the configuration of space structure, land use, road type, road access, each building's safety protection. With the quantification of each factor's effect on crime rate, it is possible to clarity the mechanisms of the three major factors, in which process of analysis new modelling method of space configuration will be developed. In this study, based on the quantification and clarification of research and field study, find out the spatial factors for development of urban crime prediction program that can show crime rates by regional, community and building scale.
