| 내용 | 공공공간의 유비쿼터스화에 적합한 공공인터페이스 디자인 개념 연구 - 공공인터페이스 내 커뮤니케이션 구조의 분석을 중심으로 - Study of Public Interface Design Notion on Ubiquitization of Public Space - Analysis of Communication System on Public Interface - 김영찬 한양대학교 사범대학 응용미술교육학과 시간강사 Kim, Young Chan Hanyang University ================================================ 1. 서 론 2. 공공 커뮤니케이션 구조의 유비쿼터스화 2-1. 공공공간의 커뮤니케이션구조 2-2. 테크놀로지의 발전에 따른 공공공간의 변화 3. 공공공간의 아이러니와 유비쿼터스의 가능성 3-1. 공공인터페이스에 내재된 아이러니와 극복의 가능성 3-2. 유비쿼터스의 가능성을 활용한 인터페이스 디자인 개념 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 유비쿼터스는 공간에 대한 단순한 테크놀로지적 이슈라기보다는 공공공간과 공공공간 내 커뮤니케이션구조에 대한 새로운 패러다임이라 할 수 있다. 90년대 중반 가상공간이 등장하기 전까지 테크놀로지의 한계로 인해 일방적이고 강압적인 형태로 만들어져 왔던 공공공간의 커뮤니케이션 구조는 테크놀로지의 발전을 통해 이러한 억압적 구조를 해체시키고 있으며, 유비쿼터스의 상용화는 가상공간의 물리적 한계마저 극복해 내고 있다. 덕분에 물리적으로 단일한 차원이라 여겨져 왔던 공공공간은 유비쿼터스에 의한 시공간의 분절과 연계를 통해 다차원적 공간으로 재창조 되고 있다. 즉 공공공간은 점차 공동체 구성원 각자의 다양성을 포용할 수 있는 공간으로 변화되고 있는 것이다. 그러나 유비쿼터스가 공공공간의 커뮤니케이션 구조의 모든 문제를 해결해 낼 수 있는 것은 아니다. 비록 유비쿼터스가 그 공공공간에 속한 공동체 구성원 모두에게 각자의 주체성과 활동성을 보장해 주기는 하지만, 이들에게 부여된 각각의 힘과 욕망을 분배하고 조절하는 문제는 테크놀로지가 아닌 정치적 영역에 속하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 먼저 공공공간 내 구성원 각자의 자유와 합의를 가능케 해 주는 커뮤니케이션 구조를 연구한 후 이러한 구조에 적합한 인터페이스 디자인 개념을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 이러한 연구를 통하여 점차 유비쿼터스화 되어가는 공공공간에 적합한 새로운 공공인터페이스 디자인 개념을 제시함으로써 앞으로 다가올 자유롭고 창의적인 공공공간과 그 커뮤니케이션 구조의 창출에 기여하고자 한다. 주제어 공공공간, 커뮤니케이션 구조, 유비쿼터스 테크놀로지, 창의성 Abstract Ubiquitous technology is a new paradigm of communication on Public Space. The limitations of communication technology have resulted in unilateral and repressive communication systems until mid-1990s before the beginning of cyber-space. The new technological development in communication has dismantled the unilateral communication system. Moreover, the recently developing ubiquitous technology is overcoming the limits of communication in the cyber-space by real mutual communication system. The Public Space which used to be regarded as one-dimensional, has reconstructed as multi-dimensional spaces by communication technology of Ubiquitization. In other words, the ideal of a Public Space that is able to embrace the diversity of the members of its community is coming to fruition. However, ubiquitous technology cannot solve all the problems inherent in the current communication system. Although ubiquitous can enliven the subjectivity and activity of all members in Public Space, its results will invariably differ according to the political decisions on how the distribution of power and desire will be controlled. We have to put into consideration how we will analyze and design the Public Space when the communication within it is realized freely and in agreement. The goal of this study is to make a contribution by designing a new public space that is adaptable to the changes of Public Space on Ubiquitization.
