| 내용 | 한국의 대학 기초조형교육 모델 제안 A Proposal for Fundamental Design Curriculum at Universities in Korea 하상오 동아대학교 조형디자인학부 교수 Ha, SangOh Faculty of Design, Dong-A University ============================================= 1. 서론 2. 대학 디자인교육과 기초조형교육 2-1. 디자인교육에 있어서 기초조형교육 2-2. 기초조형교육의 의의 3. 대학 기초조형교육의 당면과제와 방향 3-1. 기초조형교육의 당면과제 3-2. 기초조형교육의 방향 4. 대학 기초조형교육의 모델 4-1 기초조형교육의 모델(IME&H) 4-2. 학년별 커리큘럼의 구성 5. 결론 참고문헌 논문요약 본 연구는 한국 대학의 학부제 교육시스템에서 나타나고 있는 기초조형 교육의 현상과 문제점을 파악하여 대학 디자인 교육에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는 기초조형교육의 모델을 제안하고자 하였다. 따라서 기초조형교육과 관련된 형식적 내용을 중심으로 조사, 분석한 결과 한국에 있어서 기초조형교육의 문제점은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 먼저 기초조형교육의 수업시수 부족과 실습과목에 집중된 교과의 비중, 그리고 저학년에 편중된 교과편성이다. 더욱이 심각한 문제는 교과내용에 있어서 전문성이 부족이다. 이러한 교육의 질적인 문제는 커리큘럼 구성과 같은 형식적인 요인도 있지만, 각 교과목 간의 연계와 통합을 필요로 하는 기초조형 교육에 있어서 이를 조정, 관리 할 수 있는 코디네이터 (coordinator) 로서 기초조형교육을 전담하는 교원이 없다는 점이다. 이러한 현상을 감안하고 이에 대응하기 위해 다음과 같은 4가지 개념, 즉 조화, H (Harmony),를 핵심개념으로 하여 개인의 창의력을 육성하는 요소로서의 I (Idea, Identity), 그리고 소재와 매체 등 물질적인 관계를 교육하는 요소로서의 M (Material, Media), 마지막으로 인간과 환경의 사회적인 관계를 대상으로 하는 E (Environment),라는 3단계의 커리큘럼으로 구성된 「IME&H」모델에 의해 학년별 기초조형교육 커리큘럼을 제안하고자 한다. 주제어：바우하우스, 기초조형, 커리큘럼 Abstract This research has purposed to grasp of the existing condition of the Fundamental Design Education and problems that are appearing in the education system in Korea of the Faculty of the University so, I do suggest that the model of Fundamental Design Education can be used effectively in design Education College. Accordingly, the consequence of analyze and research about formal contents which is connected with the Fundamental Design Education. The problem with Fundamental Design Education in Korea can summarized as follows. To start with, the Fundamental Design Education not only has shortage of lesson times but also given much weight in the Practice Course and low grade. Furthermore, the serious problem is lack of expertise as contents. As I mentioned, this quality of education’s problem is type of factors as the configuration of curriculum. Moreover, we do not have dedicated teachers as a coordinator, who has cooperation and integration between the subjects required the adjustment in the Fundamental Design Education. Therefore, I set to the four kinds of concepts oppose to these symptoms. As H (Harmony) is the core concepts, 1-step, to foster creativity as an element of I (Idea, Identity), 2-step, educational materials and media relations, material as the element M (Material, Media), 3-step, the human and social relationships in the environment to the E (Environment) consisting of a 3-step curriculum "IME & H" model by grade.
