| 내용 | 잔느 랑방 디자인의 미적 특성 The Aesthetic Characteristics of Jeanne Lanvin's Design 이 진 민 신구대학 섬유의상코디과 전임강사 Jin-Min Lee Dept. of Textile & Clothing Coordination, Shingu University ---------------------------------------------------- 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구의 의의 및 목적 1-2. 연구문제 및 방법 2. 잔느 랑방의 생애와 작품세계 2-1. 잔느 랑방의 생애 2-2. 잔느 랑방의 작품세계 3. 잔느 랑방 디자인의 미적 특성 3-1. 낭만적 단순미 3-2. 이국미 3-3. 실험적 장식미 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 본 연구는 랑방 패션 하우스의 창립자이자 1920~30년대 남다른 예술적 가치와 디자인 감각을 표출했던 잔느 랑방의 생애를 돌아보고 작품 세계를 고찰함으로써, 랑방 디자인의 미적 특성을 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 랑방은 1889년 모자 매장을 개점하면서 자신만의 디자인을 시작하였으며, 상류층 고객의 자녀를 위한 아동복 라인을 디자인하였고, 이후 여성복 오뜨 꾸뛰르를 오픈하면서, 20세기 전반기 활발한 활동을 펼쳤다. 랑방의 작품세계를 그녀의 생애와 시대적 흐름에 따라 초기, 중기, 후기로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 랑방 디자인의 아이덴티티는 비딩과 자수를 이용한 화려한 표면 장식과 이에 대비되는 심플하고 고전적인 실루엣, 예술과 문화에 대한 이국적 취향을 바탕으로 한 다양한 디자인 영감의 활용, 그리고 '랑방 블루'로 대표되는 독창적인 색의 사용 등이 고찰되었다. 이를 토대로 랑방 디자인의 미적 특성을 고찰한 결과, 모던하고 심플한 실루엣 위에 더해진 섬세하고 화려한 표면 장식은 낭만적 단순미를, 에스닉한 민족학적 감성과 중세 카톨릭 종교로부터 영감을 얻은 디자인으로부터의 이국미, 랑방 디자인 후기에 나타난 새로운 장식 표현의 경향, 곧 직물 자체를 이용한 실험적 장식미가 논의되었다. 주제어 잔느 랑방, 오뜨 꾸뛰르, 미적 특성 Abstract The purpose of this study was to define the aesthetic characteristics of Jeanne Lanvin who founded the fashion brand “Lanvin" and expressed an artistic value and a unique sense of fashion design during the period of 1920-30s. Lanvin started her special and original design by opening millinery at 1889. She designed children's collection for upper-class customers' children and showed a vigorous activities during the early 20th century by opening haute couture for women's wear. In this study, Lanvin's design work was examined by dividing her work into early, middle and last periods. As a result, the identity of Lanvin's design can be defined as (1) splendid surface decoration based on the use of beading and embroidery, (2) simple and classical silhouette, (3) a variety of design inspiration based on exotic taste of art and culture, and (4) the use of creative colors represented by 'Lanvin blue'. Based on these examinations, it can be suggested that in Lanvin's design work delicate and splendid surface decoration added to modern and simple silhouette showed romantic simplicity, and that design inspired by ethronographic sense and medieval catholic expressed exotic beauty. Also, Lanvin's new & experimental decoration trend to use textile and fabric itself was discussed, which was found in the last period of Lanvin's design.
