| 내용 | 에도(江戶)시대 여성의 화장법과 두발양식 고찰 A Consideration of Feminine Beauty Care and Hairstyle in the EdoPeriod 주저자 : 안현순 광주보건대학 피부미용과 교수 An Hyun Soon Dept.of Skin&Beauty, Kwangju Health Collage 공동저자 : 고정민 장안대학 스타일리스트과 강사 Koh Jung Min Dept.of Stylist, Jangan Collage * 본 논문은 2010년도 광주보건대학 교내 학술연구비에 의해 수행되었음 ---------------------------------------------------- 1. 서론 2. 에도시대 미의식 2.1 에도시대 문화전반에 나타난 미의식 2.2 에도시대 화장과 두발양식에 나타난 미의식 3. 에도시대 화장법 3.1 화장문화(化粧文化) 3.2 에도시대의 화장술 4. 에도시대 두발양식 4.1 전기(AD1615∼1688) 4.2 중기(AD1689∼1762) 4.3 후기(AD1763∼1867) 5. 결론 참고문헌 논문요약 일본 에도(江戶)시대 전반의 미의식은 사비(さび), 와비(わび), 가루미(かるみ), 시오리로 대표되는데 이는 외적인 아름다움과 동시에 내면의 아름다움을 추구하는 것으로 아담하고 한적한 미와 품위를 중시하였다. 이러한 미의식은 화장을 통해 여성들의 화장법과 두발양식에도 적용되었는데, 특히 화장술은 문화의 내부 원인으로 변화하는 경우도 있지만, 복수의 문화가 서로 교차할 때, 이문화의 미의식에 영향을 받아, 미추의 기준이나 화장법이 변화하는 현상도 드물지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. 에도시대 화장법은 화장하는 개인의 특성을 부각시키는 방향으로 진행되었는데 순서는 크게 씻기, 면도, 손발톱정리, 머리 묶기, 백분 바르기, 흑치물들이기로 이루어졌다. 특히 흑치물들이기는 고대 아시아 여러 국가에서 이루어진 것으로 그 당시 독특한 미의 기준이 국가 간 교류를 통해 후대에도 이어졌음을 추측할 수 있다. 에도시대는 일본의 전통적 두발양식이 결정된 시기로 그 의미가 있으며, 각자 취향에 따라서 그 경향을 선택하고, 또한 다양한 양식과 특수한 형태를 고안해 내어 이를 다시 통일된 공동의 양식으로 유행되었다. 주제어: 에도시대 미의식, 에도시대 화장법, 에도시대 두발양식 Abstract The general aesthetic consciousness of the Edo period of Japan is represented by Sabi, Wabi, Garumi and Siori, which sought for inner as well as outer beauty with a focus one legant and quiet beauty and grace. Such consciousness of beauty also applied to women’s beautycare and hairstyle through make up, and as far as beauty care concerned, it changed, on one hand, due to the inner cause of culture, but on the other hand, in not a few cases, the crossing of multiple different cultures also affected and changed the standard of beauty or beauty care. The beauty care in the Edo period proceeded in the direction of embossing the characteristics of the person who applied cosmetics with the generalorder of wash, shaving, finger and foot nailcare, tying one’s hairback, powdering one’s face, and dyeing black. Especially, dyeing black, which had been popular in many ancient Asian countries, allows us to surmise that in thosedays, auniquestandard of beauty was set through international exchange. The Edo period has significance as a time in which Japan’s traditional hairstyle was fixed.
