| 내용 | 주조색과 밝기 정보를 이용한 인상주의 작품 분석 Analysis of Impressionist Paintings Using Dominant Color and Luminosity 김 철 기 부산대학교 예술대학 디자인학과 교수 Kim, Cheol Ki Pusan National University * 이 논문은 BB(Brain Busan)21 사업의 지원을 받아 작성된 것임. ---------------------------------------------------- 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구배경 1-2. 연구목적 2. 관련연구 2-1. 인상주의의 개념 2-2. 주조색(Dominant Color)과 밝기값 3. 실험적 분석 3-1. 주조색을 이용한 분류 3-2. 밝기 정보를 이용한 분석 4. 결과분석 및 고찰 5. 결 론 참고문헌 * 이 논문은 BB(Brain Busan)21 사업의 지원을 받아 작성된 것임. 논문요약 IT 기술의 발전과 문화콘텐츠에 대한 관심의 증가로 인하여 최근 들어 과거 시대의 예술 작품에 대한 과학적 분석 연구가 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 과학적 분석을 통한 연구 결과는 다양한 분야에 적용 가능하므로 그 기대 가치가 크다 하겠다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 관점에서 서양화의 대표적 사조 중 하나인 인상주의 화가들의 작품을 중심으로 컬러 기반 주조색 및 이미지의 밝기 정보를 이용, 작품의 특성을 분석함으로써 빛과 컬러를 중시하는 인상주의 화풍의 특성에 대한 과학적 근거를 제시하였다. 또한 주조색을 이용한 컬러의 특성을 감정형용사를 이용하여 작품 색에서 느껴지는 느낌이 어떠한지에 대한 구체적인 표현으로 추출해냈다. 실험을 통하여 기존에 알려진 인상주의 화가들의 인문학적 분석 결과와 과학적 기술에 기반한 분석 결과가 어느 정도 일치하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 이러한 분석 기법의 다양한 응용 가능성을 찾아볼 수 있는 계기를 제공하였다. 주제어 인상주의화가, 주조색, 밝기값, 컬러배색, 컬러분석 Abstract In recent, research on art paintings draws attention on the basis of advance of IT technology and concerns about increasement of cultural contents. Especially, the research results which were analyzed by scientific methods are valuable because they have enough potential for being used in various fields. The impressionist tended to give great priority to the light and color. Therefore, the impressionist style of painting had been analyzed by methods which emphasize dominant color and brightness of images. This paper tried to suggest the valuable results of scientific analysis in this point of view. Also we extract concrete expressions from their color of the paintings which were influenced and characterized by the dominant color by using emotional adjectives. Through this experiment, we could confirm the correspondence of results between our scientific analysis and the existing humanistic analysis in the field of impressionist paintings.
