| 내용 | 창의성 촉진을 위한 기업의 조직 환경 개선방안 A Study for Inhance Creativity through Improve Organizational Climate 김 면 성균관대학교 예술대학 디자인학과 교수 Kim, Myoun Sungkyunkwan University ___________________________________________ 논문요약 오늘날 기업 간의 경쟁이 그 어느 때보다 치열해짐에 따라 경쟁 우위를 점하고자 하는 기업들의 노력이 다각도로 전개되고 있다. 그 동안 인간 삶의 물질적 향상을 주도해 온 기술의 차별적 가치가 약화 되면서 인간의 감성적 경험도 함께 충족시킬 수 있는 디자인과 디자인경영에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 디자인경영을 보는 관점은 학자와 전문가들에 따라 수많은 시각들이 존재하며, 포괄적인 동의를 이끌어낸 정의가 아직 존재하지 않는 것이 현실이다. 하지만 대부분의 정의들이 경영 활동을 위한 하나의 수단으로서의 디자인경영 또는 제품 생산 프로세스의 일환으로써의 디자인경영 등에 치우쳐 있다. 본 연구는 디자인경영의 또 다른 관점인 창의성 촉진이라는 측면에서 접근하였으며 문헌 고찰을 통하여 기업 조직의 실질적인 디자인경영이 이루어지기 위해서는 먼저 조직 환경이 창의적 경험을 할 수 있도록 개선되어야 하며 그를 위한 4가지의 기본 조건들을(규제를 최소화한 커뮤니케이션, 자극과 격려, 자유로운 실험정신, 재미와 여가 그리고 복지) 만족시켜야 함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 국내외 사례를 통하여 4가지 요인들이 실질적으로 어떻게 창의적인 조직 환경의 조성과 개선에 기여하고 있는가를 확인하고 조직환경 개선을 통한 창의성 촉진이 디자인경영의 일환 이라는 새로운 시각을 제공하고자 한다. 주제어 디자인 경영, 조직 환경, 창의성 촉진 Abstract In today’s competitive business environment, global competition forces companies to perpetually seek ways of improving their products/services. In this vein, we has paid attention to design management as a way of innovation. There are various definitions of design management and is no universal definition. Most of the existing design management literature has mainly focused on the view of design as a tool for business activities or design as a process of product manufacturing. This paper provides an useful approach from creative climate of organizations in order to understand one of meaningful definitions of design management. The literature review summarizes four key factors that affect creative climate of an organization: Interaction with small barriers, a large number of stimuli, freedom to experiment, and fun, leisure & welfare. This study review synthesised existing practical cases explaining those factors and what makes organizations' climate more creative than others. The identification of certain organizational factors, related to organizational climate that can enhance creativity at the organizational level, provides an basic explanation of this inquiry.
