| 내용 | 패션 컬렉션 메이크업의 성적 이미지 표현방법 Expression Methods of Sexual Image in Fashion Collection Makeup 김 지 희 대구한의대학교 웰빙복지대학 패션시각디자인학부 부교수 Kim Jee-hee Faculty of Fashion Communication, Daegu Hanny University __________________________________________________________________________ 논문요약 본 연구는 현대사회의 성 개념이 메이크업을 통하여 표현된 방법에 대하여 패션 컬렉션에서 제시된 메이크업을 통해 연구함으로써, 메이크업의 사회적 역할과 가치를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 현대 사회의 성에 대한 유연한 사고는 내면의 여성성을 인정하고 표현하는 남성인 메트로섹슈얼, 남성적 강인함과 여성적 섬세함을 갖춘 여성인 콘트라섹슈얼, 양 성의 특성을 동시에 지니며 유연한 성역할을 수행할 수 있는 논섹슈얼로 나타나고 있다. 패션 컬렉션 메이크업에서 성적 이미지의 표현은 특정 성에 대한 이미지의 강조를 통해 다른 성으로 전환이 가능함을 보여주며, 성적 특성이 나타나지 않는 이미지의 해체로 다양한 정체성을 표현할 수 있음을 나타낸다. 또한 양 성의 특성을 모두 드러내는 이미지의 공존으로 하나의 개체에 두 개의 성적 이미지가 공존할 수 있음을 인정함으로써 성의 유동성과 선택적인 전환이 가능한 성적 이미지의 표현을 보여준다. 현대의 메이크업은 개인의 정체성과 가치관을 표현하는 차원을 넘어서서 시대와 사회의 흐름을 반영하고 표현하며 이끌어가는 중요한 사회문화적 행위가 되고 있으며, 메이크업이 갖는 사회적 의미와 역할의 중요성은 점차 증가할 것이다. 주제어 : 패션 컬렉션, 메이크업, 성적 이미지 Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine how to express the concept of sex through fashion collection makeup in modern society in an effort to shed light on the social roles of makeup. The way of looking at sex in modern society is flexible, and there are three different sorts of sexuality. One is a metro sexual that refers to a man who admits and reveals his own inner femininity, and another is a contra sexual that denotes a woman who has both masculine toughness and feminine delicacy. The third is a non-sexual which refer to a person who has the characteristics of both sexes and perform sexual roles in a flexible manner. In fashion collection makeup, emphasizing the image of a particular sex makes it possible to convert to the other sex, and dissolving an image that doesn't have any particular sexual characteristics makes it possible to express various kinds of identity. In addition, there is a coexistence of images that represents the characteristics of both sexes, which is to admit that two different sexual images could coexist in a single individual. Makeup is not only a way of expressing one's identity and values but one of primary sociocultural behaviors that represent, describe and lead the flow of society.
