| 내용 | 소셜 네트워크 게임의 이용 요인 Social Network Games(SNG) Playing Factors 주저자 : 전희성 한국과학기술기획평가원 부연구위원 Jeon Heesung KISTEP 교신저자 : 이정수 한국과학기술기획평가원 연구원 Lee Jung Soo KISTEP ___________________________________________ 논문요약 소셜네트워크플랫폼에 기반을 둔 소셜네트워크서비스와 함께 등장한 소셜네트워크게임은 소셜(social)과 네트워크(network), 게임(game)이 통합된 광의의 개념으로 게임산업에서 급격한 성장을 이루고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 소셜네트워크게임의 정의 및 특성을 선행 연구들의 고찰을 통해 정리하고, 최근 연구들에서 제안한 모델들에서 주요 이용요인 및 요인별 항목을 도출하여 이를 AHP로 분석하여 소셜네트워크게임의 사용 요인별 중요도를 알아보고 소셜네트워크게임의 사회적 특성이 게임적 특성보다 중요하게 작용함을 주장하였다. 소셜네트워크게임의 사용 요인별 중요도를 알아본 결과, 이용자들은 소셜네트워크게임을 사용하는 요인 중 사회적 결속 – 상호작용성 – 시간활용 - 유희성 순으로 중요시 여기며, 요인별 항목 중 집단소속감 공고화가 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 다른 온라인, 모바일 등 게임과는 다른 소셜네트워크게임만의 사회적 특성이 사용요인으로 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 의미하여, 소셜네트워크게임의 이용요인으로 사회적 특성이 강하게 작용한다는 본 연구의 주장을 뒷받침하는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 주제어 소셜네트워크게임, 이용요인, 소셜네트워크 특성 Abstract The social network games(SNG) are rapidly growing in the game industry since it is introduced with social network services based on social network platform. The concept of SNG is combining the meaning of social, network, and game. This paper reviews the definition and the characteristics of SNG from the previous studies and derives the factors of playing SNG from the analyses of importance order for SNG playing factors using AHP in the models suggested by the recent studies. The social character of SNG is the more critical factor than game character. The result shows the importance of SNG playing factors in the order of social bonding - interactivity - use of time - fun and its most critical factor is the enforcement of social bonding.
