| 내용 | 미야자키 하야오의 애니메이션에서 나타나는 여성의 이데올로기적 이미지* Image ideological of women appeared in Miyazaki Hayao’s animation 주저자 : 김은주 전북대학교 공과대학 IT공학부, 문화융복합아카이빙연구소 Kim eun-ju Chonbuk National University, Department of Information Technology 교신저자 : 김 건 전북대학교 인문대학 기록관리학대학원 교수, 문화융복합아카이빙연구소 Kim Geon Chonbuk National University, Department of Records Management ---------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 미야자키 하야오의 애니메이션에 등장하는 여성 캐릭터들은 두 가지 양상으로 표현된다. 우선, 하나는 전쟁무기, 과학의 발달, 무분별하게 개발되는 자연환경 등 재해를 막는 여전사로서 영웅성이 강한 인물의 성격이다. 또 다른 양상은 애정과 따뜻함을 소유하고, 목적을 위해 강한 의지를 발휘하며, 주변의 것들과 유대관계가 좋아 유연성과 감수성이 풍부한 성격으로 그려지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 양상은 각기 독립적으로 나타나지 않고 복합적이며 융합적으로 표현되고 있다. 이러한 경향은 내러티브에 내재되어있는 인물의 성격과 외형적으로 드러나는 시각적 텍스트 간의 상관관계를 통해 파악할 수 있다. 성격지표의 분석에 따라 나타나는 여성의 유형을 살펴보면, 판단형(Judgin-J)은 분명한 목적과 행동을 취하며 강한 의지를 표명하는 의지형으로 보인다. 그리고 내향형(Introversion-I)은 조용하면서 신중하며 깊이 있는 대인관계를 유지하는 성격으로 자존감이 강하면서 대인관계에서 유대적임을 엿볼 수 있다. 또한 사고와 감정의 지표 차원에서 보면, 감정형(Feeling-F)은 따뜻하고 친절하며, 모성애적 본능과 본인의 주변인물에게 헌신적으로 봉사하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 이러한 성향들을 표현하고 있는 시각적 텍스트를 분석해보면, 미야자키 감독은 짧은 스커트와 머리스타일로 귀엽고 깜직한 소녀의 이미지 그리고 전투적이고 전사적인 영웅의 소녀로서의 인물들을 복합적으로 강조하고 있다. 이러한 여성의 외시적 의미와 함축적 의미를 토대로 구조화된 이데올로기를 통해 드러나는 여성 이미지는 ‘탈남성적인 사회적 주체로서의 여성’, ‘사회문제 해결자로서의 여성‘, ‘자연을 표상하는 여성’, ‘모성적 원리와 여성성을 추구하는 여성’으로 작용한다. 특히 의상스타일 즉 원피스와 장신구, 그리고 심리변화에 따라 변화하는 색상의 톤(Tone), 머리 모양과 길이, 소녀들의 표정과 배경 등을 활용한 시각적 텍스트는 이러한 여성의 표상을 더욱 극대화시키고 있다. 주제어 미야자키 하야오, 의미생성, 이데올로기적 구조 Abstract All female characters in animated films by Miyazaki Hayao, one of Japan's greatest animation directors, would be represented in two aspects: the first one is the heroine as the female warrior who prevents disasters caused by weapons of war, an advance in science, and thoughtless exploitation of the earth. The other aspect is imaged in peculiarity of flexibility and rich sensitivity as they have warmness and strong ties to the surroundings, and demonstrate a strong wills to her purposes. However, these aspects are not appeared individually, but rather complex and integrated ways. It can be grasped in the relation between characteristics of the female figure immanent in the narrative and the visual text emerged in the external surface of film. The result of MBTI indicates types of female: the Judging type (Judgin-J) pronounces a strong wills, taking clear purpose and actions. The introversive type (Introversion-I) maintains a good interpersonal relationship with others carefully but has strong self-esteem. At the level of the index of thought and emotion, the feeling type (Feeling-F) is a warm and friendly one, and displays the tendency to devote and serve in the instinct of motherly love to surrounding people. The female image proved through ideology structured on the base of denotation and connotation of the female, works as the ‘the subject against the physical subject of mannish’, ‘women as problem solvers’, ‘women that symbolizes the nature’ and ‘the subject in pursuit of motherly principle and feministic ideology.’ Keyword Miyazaki Hayao, Signification, Structure ideological |
