Abstrac This study is based on the actual experience of design education case that was taken at Tokyo Art University and Tsukuba University, and summarrized it. The purpose is to give basic cases of design education of Incheon Metropolitan. Incheon Metropolitan has about 2.6million people which has Incheon International Airport and Song-do city is under developing, and it is growing as the 21st century international trade city. The structure of Incheon industry is mainly small ndustry-centered, and it is lack of design development capabiliy of industry. The design education institutes are behind than other Metropolitan Cities. It has two four-year universities and six two-year colleges. These industrial nature of Incheon make a necessity to stimulate the study of design education which taken from Japan. I think that this study will stimulate design education and industry. And, I am going to utlize as basic cases for design education which suitable for Incheon area that result was taken by this study. I will contribute for design advancement of international city of Incheon through trainning of outstanding design experts and finding new design personnels.
