| 내용 | 현대 시각언어의 기하학적 표현에 관한 연구 - 프랙탈 기하학 이론을 중심으로 - Research about the geometric expression of modern visual language - focused on fractal geometry theory - 주저자 : 김지면(Kim, ji myun) 한양대학교 디자인대학 시각디자인과 -------------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 Abstract 1. 서론 1-1. 연구 목적 1-2. 연구 범위 및 내용 2. 프랙탈(fractal)의 이해 2-1. 기하학이란 2-2. 프랙탈의 개념 2-3. 프랙탈의 기하학 3. 프랙탈 기하도형에 관한 분석 3-1. 프랙탈의 자기 유사성(Self-Similarity) 3-2. 프랙탈 도형 3-3. 프랙탈 이미지의 형태적 특성 3-4. 프랙탈(fractal)과 카오스(chaos) 4. 결론 요약 우리 주위의 자연에서 쉽게 볼 수 있는 프랙탈 기하학(fractal geometry)에 대해 논하고자 한다. 자연은 디자인에 있어 다양성의 원천을 가지고 우리주위를 에워싸고 있으며, 디자인의 원리가 쉽게 발견되고, 또 다양한 부분들이 통일된 전체 속에 포함된 모습을 하고 있다. 이러한 디자인의 원천인 자연을 관찰하여 형태와 패턴의 가능성을 발견하고 이것을 합리화시켜 이상적인 기하학 형태로 만들어 왔다. 새로운 가치관의 등장과 함께 또 다른 우리의 관심을 얻는 것은 테크놀로지(Technology)의 응용 가능성이 증대된다는 점일 것이다. 의식구조와 테크놀로지가 변화함에 따라 예술과 문화의 영역에서도 상당한 구조적 변환이 된 것이다. 흔히 사람들은 과학은 무미건조하고 어떤 감동도 주지못하며 예술과는 거리가 먼 것으로 생각해 왔다. 그러나 과학 및 예술과 함께 자연을 경험하는 두 가지 상호보완적인 방법중 하나로서 자연 속의 복잡한 모양에 내제하는 규칙을 이해하여 그 규칙을 하나의 도형으로 연결 표현적 측면을 들었다. 그 대표적인 이론이 프랙탈 기하학이다. 프랙탈 기하학에 내제된 혼돈 속의 질서, 질서 속의 혼돈의 시각적인 미를 디자인으로 수용 적용한 것이다. 프랙탈 기하학을 과학으로 통하여 과학과 예술간의 실제적 접목이 여러 가지 방향으로 활발히 시도되고 있는데, 프랙탈은 공간의 목적에 맞도록 재창조하기 위한 하나의 방향제시로, 자연과 과학과 예술의 새로운 미학이 될 수 있는 계기를 마련한 이론이라 할 수 있다. 즉, 자연형태 속에 내재된 프랙탈(fractal)적 질서를 조형적 관찰을 통하여 체계적으로 분석하고 추출하여 시각의 형태로 활용한 것이다. 프랙탈의 이해를 통해 기하학의 이론적 배경을 고찰하고, 프랙탈의 용어정의와 그 관련 이론들의 객관적인 내용을 살펴보았다. 도형적 이미지의 구성원리와 특징을 바탕으로 프랙탈의 기하학적 측면을 들어 시각적 개념과 형태적 특성을 찾아봄으로써 프랙탈의 이미지 사고가 형태로 표현되는 과정을 파악하고자 한다. Nature has source of variety and surround our surroundings in design, and principle of design is discovered easily, and do image included within whole that various members are unified also. Human have made by ideal geometry form discovering possibility of form and pattern and rationalize this observing nature that is source of these design. It may be that application possibility of technology is increased to get another our interest with entrance on the stage of new value. Consciousness structure and technology become fair structural conversion in area of art and culture according to variableness. Often, people is dry science and do not give any emotion and have thought as thing which distance is far with art. But, in complex shape of nature inside as two one complementary method that experience nature with science and art my of do knowing rule understand and the rule took side the connection expression enemy by one figure. The representative theory is fractal geometry. Apply my my order of chaos inside that become, optical beauty of chaos of order inside accommodation by design in fractal geometry. Practical grafting between science and art is attempted abuzz to various direction going through fractal geometry by science Fractal is one direction presentation to do re-creation to fit in purpose of space, I can speak as theory that ready meter that can become new esthetics of nature and science and art.
