| 내용 | 친환경 소재를 이용한 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인 Sustainable Makeup Design Using Environment-friendly Materials 주저자 : 장윤영 대구가톨릭대학교 패션산업학과 박사과정 Jang, Yun Young Catholic University of Daegu, Dept. of Fashion Industry 공동저자 : 유태순 대구가톨릭대학교 패션디자인과 교수 Yoo, Tai-Soon Catholic University of Daegu, Dept. of Fashion Design ____________________________________________________________ 논문요약 본 연구는 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인의 개념을 정립하고 그에 맞는 디자인을 제시하여 지속가능성의 범위를 확장시키고자 한다. 나아가 메이크업 아티스트들에게 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인이라는 새로운 패러다임을 제시하여 사회 전반적인 흐름에 부합하는 다양한 디자인을 창출하는데 목적을 두었다. 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인이란, 적절한 양의 친환경 소재로 아름다움을 창출해내는 것으로 메이크업 시술 시 발생할 수 있는 환경오염, 에너지 사용, 피부손상 등을 최소화 하여 자연과 사람의 안전을 보장하고, 화장품 기업의 윤리적 생산을 강조하는 것이다. 연구자가 정의한 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인의 개념을 뒷받침하고 그 가능성을 제시하기 위해 유기농 제품을 이용한 Sustainable Make up designⅠ, 기존의 화장품에 종이 속눈썹, 머드 팩 등의 친환경 소재를 접목한 Sustainable Make up designⅡ, 참숯, 꿀, 곡류를 이용하여 새로운 아트 메이크업 디자인을 제시한 Sustainable Make up designⅢ의 작품을 제작 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 아름다움을 추구하기 위한 목적으로 하는 메이크업을 지속가능한 디자인에 접목시켜 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인이라는 새로운 개념 확립을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 나아가 이것을 뷰티산업 전반에 적용하여 뷰티산업에서의 지속가능한 디자인에 대한 개념을 정립하고 가이드라인을 제시하는 연구가 이루어진다면 뷰티산업의 지속적인 발전을 도모하고 신뢰도와 유용성을 높이는 방법이 될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. 주제어 지속가능한 디자인, 지속가능한 메이크업 디자인, 친환경 메이크업 소재 Abstract This study aims to identify the notion of sustainable makeup design and to expand the scope of the sustainabilty by providing the corresponding designs. Furthermore, by presenting makeup artists with a new paradigm of sustainable makeup design, this paper seeks to create a variety of designs which are in accord with the trends of the society at large. Sustainable makeup design is defined as producing the beauty with using environmentally friendly materials. And it was emphasized that not only is the safety of nature and humans required, but cosmetics companies should produce products ethically as well, through minimizing invironmental pollution, energy usage, and skin damage caused while applying makeup. Sustainable makeup designⅠwas produced to support the notion of sustainable makeup design presented by the researcher and to suggest the availabilities; Sustainable makeup designⅡ was made, which integrated ecofriendly materials such as paper eyelashes and mud packs into the existing cosmetics; And Sustainable makeup designⅢ, which presented a new art makeup design using hardwood charcoal, honey, and grains, was also introduced. When makeup that has the goals of pursuing the beauty is integrated into sustainable designs through this study, both artists and ordinary people can access the concept of sustainable makeup design readily. If this great advantage is applied throughout the beauty industries and the notion of sustainable design in the beauty industries is defined, and the studies to suggest guidelines are followed, it must certainly be a way to promote the development of the beauty industries and to enhance the reliability and the usefulness of them. key words sustainable design, sustainable makeup design, environment-friendly material |
